Thirty-one years of racing is a lifetime to many people, but Steve Redman has been turning laps for quite a while. He is the owner of Action Sign Services and is sponsored by CanCentral Sports Cards & Memorabilia, Boisjoli Racing Chassis & Fabrication, Auto Parts Center, Benders Performance, Mowdown Racing Engines and Action Sign Services.
His pit crew include – Taylor Boisjoli, Roger Boisjoli and Mary Redman.
Redman’s first race at Lake of the Woods Speedway was on August 28, 2020 where he finished seventh (7th) in his heat raced and finished 6th in the feature of the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds.
“I have been involved in dirt track racing since I was a kid. I would ride my bicycle five miles (8km) to the track every Tuesday Night.”
His expectations for 2023 include beating “that hot shot Mira at least once.”
Promoter’s Thoughts – “Steve and Mary have supported Lake of the Woods Speedway long before the track opened with support for signage, decals, etc. it has been great to have them continue to be involved multiple ways, especially seeing him back in a Pure Stock.”
