Reese has been racing the better part of fifteen years and is a Project Manager for his day job. His first race at Lake of the Woods Speedway was during the 2022 Dinner Jacket Classic Series where he finished fourth (started 6th) in the heat race and finished 7th in the feature after starting 11th.
He is a two-time ALH Motor Speedway 4-Cylinder Track Champion and holds the record for the fastest lap for a Pure Stock at Victory Lane Speedway.
His sponsor is Eastside Ventilation and has a family of Audettes’ who help him in the pits.
Reese started racing on an early sim racer called NASCAR Racing 1996 and continues to sim race.
“It helped give me the basic skills needed to race for real. I went to Community College in North Carolina to learn how to build a stock car in 1999, and in 2007, decided to put my skills to test at Red River Co-op Speedway (now Victory Lane Speedway), and have been racing ever since.”
In 2023, Reese hopes to return to Lake of the Woods Speedway for the Dinner Jacket Classic Series and finish in the top 5.
Promoter’s Thoughts – “It was great to see Rob at Lake of the Woods Speedway in 2022, but due to being rained out on Day 2 of the Dinner Jacket Classic Series, he was unable to get as many laps in as he had hoped to. I wouldn't be surprised to see him compete for a win."
