Lake of the Woods Speedway
CANCELLED AND MOVED to AUGUST 6 - Phil Boisjoli Memorial Race
Lake of the Woods Speedway is honoured to have the opportunity to hold a Memorial Race for Phil Boisjoli in the WISSOTA Pure Stocks. The Q104 WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, and Henley Enterprises & HD Contracting Enterprises 4-Cylinders will also be racing.
Phil Boisjoli became a part of the racing community in 1973 when the Winnipeg Speedway opened up south of the city. He ran a 1955 Chevy and raced in Emo and Grand Forks. He started building cars for others in the region in the early 1990s. Many of his built racecars are still racing to this day.
The WISSOTA Pure Stocks will be racing for $1,000 to win thanks to a variety of sponsors including – Speedway International, Dynasty Bathrooms, Con=Trac Corp., Bob’s Transmissions, Life if Maid Cleaning Service, Action Sign Services, Fast Bucket Excavating, Deva Jatt Transportation, Keewatin Truck Service, Rehill Racing, Imrie Demolition, Project X Racecards, Bison Valley Xpress, Bennett’s Marine, and Farr Racing, Audette Racing.
