Morgan McDonald, Farr, Rehill Claim Feature Wins
Lake of the Woods Speedway hosted Meet the Drivers and Fans Favourite Driver vote on July, 19, 2026.
After some mingling, the Q104 Limited Stocks, Riverview Industries WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, and HD Contracting Ent. 4-Cylinders took to the track.
Morgan McDonald started on the pole in the Q104 Limited Stocks heat race and claimed the win, while Bryson McDonald, who started in the eighth position finished second. Justin Krause rounded out third.
In the feature, Morgan fought with Bryson for several laps but was able to make things stick on the bottom taking an almost straightaway lead halfway through. Meanwhile, there was a gaggle of cars fighting from second to sixth throughout the race. A caution was brought out with just a couple laps to go, bringing the field back together. However, Morgan was able to pull away again with the battle coming to the line at the checkered flag. In the end, Morgan got his first feature win of the year with Logan and Bryson finishing second and third.
The Riverview Industries WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds had Christopher Leek and Brandon Rehill start on the front row in the heat race and finish there. Edward Bell hard charged from the eighth position to cross the line in third.
The feature had Rehill on the pole once again with Leek on the outside. Rehill battled with Leek for a couple laps but was able to maintain the position. Bell then moved up to second and was on the back bumper of Rehill. Dustin Alcock, who started in the eighth position was able to get by Leek and eventually Bell for second spot and got right beside the leader at one point However, Rehill was able to close the door on the rookie to take his second win of 2026 at Lake of the Woods Speedway.
The HD Contracting Ent. 4-Cylinders had two heat races. In heat one, Alexander Farr went from third to win it, while Lorne Dubois, who crashed into the railing on lap one, was able to recover from restarting last to finishing second. Anthony Bailey finished third. In the second heat, Shelden McDonald went for a tumble coming out of turn four but was all right. Another racing incident caused Tyler Brooks and Courtney Alcock to retire early. Madoc Mulholland took the win, with Dustin Wowk and Kianna Edison finishing second and third.
The feature was full of action with racing throughout the field. Farr and Mulholland battled it out for the lead while rookies Lisa Ressing and Courtney Alcock pushed forward into the top ten. With a few laps to go, Bailey’s car went hard right and over the backside of turn one rolling softly on his roof. He was all right, but the car was done for the night dashing his hopes for a top three finish.
On the ensuing restart, Mulholland had the lead, but Farr was right behind him. Coming into turn three on the last lap, they were squeezing for position. Farr was able to cross the line first, taking his second win of the season. Wowk finished second with Edison rounding out the top three.
Congratulations to all the winners!
